Don´t know if this is true for the version 5.0 software and w/ v.4.0 only or if it´s a misinformation. Giga,- but he also told me not all the devices for Scope run in XTC mode, especially some of J.B.´s ones.

If I were you I'd stay at home when it comes to soundcards.Īnd, yes, I already stay at home regarding soundcards, using RME card and converter and I use it also w/ Cubase,- and I visited the Planetz Forum for more info about Xite-1. But here you actually recieve free stuff.Ĭheck out the Phase Disrtion synth and the Additive synth in the device thread. Most forums are for selling stuff because of free ads.
Once you go there you'll see why I consider that a real developers forum. I always liked forums where I learned something and recieved free devices from developers. This place is where you can get your life customized if you use Scope. Brainspawn Forte is a real good performer but I do not wish to add audio and MIDI buffers to a zero latency / realtime app like Scope.īesides, if you saw the jpeg of SCOPE & Bidule they are perfectly mated and modular in design with zero Molasses. I tried Steinbergs VST Quack and it not only sounded poor, it was worthless and finnicky. The whole process of hardware and softrware took 25 minutes.

Not a single crash ever onstage, but during this last install the app was crashing my VST sequencers since there were new drivers and I did this w/o a manual. If I lived in Germany I wouldn't think twice about using any of their gear.īut after letting him do my builds and advising me on upgrades every 2 years to avoid crashes, he has a perfect record and so does Scope. Many will quack about the price of the XITE-1 but to a veteran like me who loves customer support and mature 3rd party developers, like JohnBowen for one, it's a no brainer. XTC Mode works flawless, but I have always mastered in Scope as it's 32bit Integer Multitracker has a warm round sound. The new Reverb is a 5.1 Surround Room which also works in stereo, but I have always routed hardware reverb into my projects via the AES/EBI I/O's, and will be selling my Lexicon PCM91/81 now. On paper it would be accurate but I would say in real world applications more like 7 or 8 times the power.Įverything is back compatable another good reason as I have a large investment in plugs.
Once you use their stuff it's kind of difficult buying a soundcard that just amplifies audio.
